THere is another video out there that shows the? fire start and get put out. That would be a good one to watch if you’re considering a purchase.

@cheddah1000 Got it, that was a good demonstration, now apply that to a 4×8 or 10×10 tent and start the fire on? the opposite end. Like I said before, it is a great idea, however i think i need to see field test before i would rely on something like that.

@TheJuanaBean There’s? another video showing this in a Grow Hut that isn’t even zipped shut with a fire in it. It’s called Flame Defender Demonstration.

  8. TheJuanaBean says:

Great Idea, but I would bet against anyone that in a real fire, lets say an area of 5×9, this will not put out a fire. The video is a nice display piece for this product, however it has no scientific proof as to the true fire suppression ability. However, if you were to install 4-5 6kg defenders in the same 5X9 area, you would stand a better chance of of protection or surviving a fire. Build some credibility in this product by showing actual field tests. ? Thank you!

Certified is incorrect. A,B, & C refers to which class of fires the agent is suitable to extinguish. What you call ‘Certification’ usually means UL or FM listing/approval which you don’t have. ? Are the cylinders approved for interstate shipping by the U.S. DOT???

  11. sunlightsupply says:

Fires are categorized according to the material which is burning. Different kinds of fires require different methods to put them out. ABC is the acronym for an extinguisher certified for A, B, and C type fires. A is common fuels like wood, B is for flammable liquids, and C is for charged electrical fires. Using the right type of fire extinguisher is very important when dealing with a fire. Always follow safety? and use instructions printed on the outside of the container.
